Hello, Just bought the Air 3, Flew it for three short videos, worked great very impressed.  Took it out today and the gimbal will not tilt.  It goes through its start up and everything seems ok but the left wheel will not tilt the gimbal. Also if i bump it it will not recenter itself. When i go into calibrate gimbal it gives me a message that the aircraft is not connected? but it is.  Very confusing since it worked great first day out no issue put it in the pouch, took it out the next day and could not operate the gimbal. Any help is appriciated. Thanks.

Well tried again today. Everything seems normal no messages.  Gimbal mode is in Follow mode. It will not switch to Fpv mode it just reverts back to follow mode. . I still get the message 'ensure aircraft connection is normal and retry" all lights are green. I rebinded the controller to the aircraft. Still no gimbal response. I guess I will have to start a claim.

Seems like a software issue in the aircraft. Notice the teak upward at the end of the gimbal rotation test. After that the gimbal seems to have no power.

I'll try an exchange with Best Buy tomorrow.

Same here. My gimbal sporaticaly aims either down or up after it does it's start up dance. I then have to turn it off, move gimbal around then restart and it's fine. I'll be keeping an eye on this

Wow that stinks. I'll try to delete the updated firmware one more time but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Absolutely the same issue with my Mavic 3 Classic. Haven’t been flying it for a while. Like a couple of months. Before going on the vacation, updated the software and data bases, charged the batteries. And then during the start, everything seemed to be normal. The drone self-diagnosed itself - twitched the propellers, rotated the gimbal, got enough satellites to takeoff. The video feed was all shaky and unstable, I landed the aircraft. From the RC, I wasn’t able to either recenter the gimbal or recalibrate it. It was just hanging dead. Message “Ensure aircraft connection is normal and retry” kept popping up. Reset all the settings, re-linked the controller. Still the same…

Please confirm what specific error message you experience on the DJI Fly app. If you have a screenshot, please upload it on Google Drive so we can check it further. Lastly, please try to perform the gimbal calibration on the application to further isolate the issue. Please keep us posted.
