Hello DJI,
the RC2 is not very bright especialy in sunlight.

Is it possible the brighten up the screen via a firmware update?

there is a max brightness 700 nits it will not go above this with any FW. The RC Pro is 1000 nits and although brighter it can be difficult to see in direct sunlight. Suggestion buy a RC cover/hood.

You cant fix brightness with firmware. Idk why folks think a firmware will fix everything. That's not how it works. The rc and rc 2 is hardware to give max 700 nits. If you want brighter, get the rc pro. It is 1000 nits.
