Technically yes, but I had a feeling the real thing would have sounded differently with changing distances, speed etc.

You're very welcome.  

I meant to say shooting into the sun not the wind.  I guess my brain was a bit scrambled after being at the pistol range and hearing all those rounds being shot.  I do wear ear protectors but it still rattles your head after a while.

That would probably make me get mad and then shoot even worse.  Nothing worse that a bunch of crooked career politicians on a stage lying out both sides of their mouth.  I hate to say it but neither party has a decent candidate with good moral standards.  Might well be time for a 3rd party to stand up and give these two parties a run for their money.  The problem is lack of funding.  Political elections nowadays is all about who has the deepest campaign chests.

If you would have put a mic somewhere, it would have faded more.
Funny enough there is a debate in 'the scene' about whether or not you should record the sound from the 'point of view' or from the engine.
But with a drone this is different, since the point of view changes as you move.
What I personally like to do is just set up a mic and have the sound be recorded from one place. It does feel quite natural to me.

You're absolutely right.  Every time somebody runs as an Independent candidate they just siphon off votes from one or both parties leaving the outcome the same usually.  To get a viable 3rd party they would need to stand up 4 years prior to a national election and get tons of funding ready.  Personally, I don't vote along party lines.  I vote for the candidates who I think will do the best job.  Unfortunately, unless you personally know the candidate and his qualifications it can be a crap shoot.  Most of the websites that the candidates start up are full of lies and if you read enough they are talking out of both sides of their mouth.  Again, this is why I abhor career politicians.

Are system here doesn't allow us to vote for the PM,  we vote for the local candate and then the party that wins picks the leader.     The local candidates some times do a good job of visiting the houses in the area for a chat.   Last year they didnt do that,  and a lot of people didnt vote and the good guy that got stuff down lost and the lady that took his seat has done litterally nothing and she does even publish proper contact details like the former guy did.

I would set up a mic with that furry thing on top against the wind somewhere in the field.
It will capture the drone too, but that's just what it is.
