Hi,
Just bought a DJI Osmo action 3 camera. I just bought a new phone (Samsumg A54) and found out there is no compatibility with the DJI Mimo app. So I tried getting it to work on my old phone, the Samsung Galaxy S8. I cannot get it to work. Here's what happens when I download the Andriod APK from the DJI website: (My phone is in dutch, so I will do my best to translate the messages)
- First it says the file may be harmful, but I choose to download anyway.
- It starts downloading
- When I open the file it asks me "do you want to install the app? No special access is required". I choose "install".
- It starts installing. When it's done, it says "app not installed".
- I press "ready" in the bottom right, and then I get a blank screen.
No matter what I do, I cannot get the app to install/open correctly.
Now, I am extremely worried. I just spent a lot of money on this camera + phone. And I cannot get the app to work on a phone which, according to your website, is SUPPOSED to be compatible with the DJI Mimo app. Ofc I would prefer to have it work on a new phone, but before I trade in my Samsung A54 for another one on your compatibility list, I want to make sure it will work when I do. If there is no workable solution, I will just send the camera back instead.
Could anyone please help me with this issue?
