DJI Mimo app doesn't work on my Galaxy S8

Hi,

Just bought a DJI Osmo action 3 camera. I just bought a new phone (Samsumg A54) and found out there is no compatibility with the DJI Mimo app. So I tried getting it to work on my old phone, the Samsung Galaxy S8. I cannot get it to work. Here's what happens when I download the Andriod APK from the DJI website: (My phone is in dutch, so I will do my best to translate the messages)
- First it says the file may be harmful, but I choose to download anyway.
- It starts downloading
- When I open the file it asks me "do you want to install the app? No special access is required". I choose "install".
- It starts installing. When it's done, it says "app not installed".
- I press "ready" in the bottom right, and then I get a blank screen.
No matter what I do, I cannot get the app to install/open correctly.

Now, I am extremely worried. I just spent a lot of money on this camera + phone. And I cannot get the app to work on a phone which, according to your website, is SUPPOSED to be compatible with the DJI Mimo app. Ofc I would prefer to have it work on a new phone, but before I trade in my Samsung A54 for another one on your compatibility list, I want to make sure it will work when I do. If there is no workable solution, I will just send the camera back instead.

Could anyone please help me with this issue?

Alright, I've finally managed to install it on my S8. Turn out I didn't have enough space on my phone. When I freed up like 20 gb of space it managed to install correctly.
What I am still wondering is, is it not compatible AT ALL on the Samsung A54, or is it just not working optimally?
I am going on a very long travel in 6 weeks, and if it doesn't work at all I am thinking about changing in my phone for another model. It's not ideal carryiing 2 phones.

Thanks for the reply and letting me know my new phone is also compatible. That lifts a big weight off my shoulders.
Maybe it is a good idea to update the compatibility list on this page: https://www.dji.com/nl/mobile/downloads/djiapp/dji-mimo
The Samsung A54 is not listed there, even though you mentioned it is compatible. I suspect this may be the case for other phones as well. It may save your customers a lot of stress and frustration if that list would be fully up to date.

I'm having issues to connect my Galaxy A54 5G to my Osmo pocket 3. Can't download the DJI mimo app, also can't connect my phone with the pocket 3 through USB cable.

Any solutions?
