Hello,

Today 2 propellers hit little leafs in a tree.

How do I know if I have to change propellers? The drone is still very young.

I send 2 photos of the main damages.

I see a nick in the leading edge of the right hand blade of the first photo but I am not sure if, at roughly the same distance from the screw,  the 'dent' in the trailing edge of that blade is real or an optical illusion. If the dent is real I would change BOTH blades on that motor, they are weight matched pairs.
If the dent is an optical illusion then I wouldn't replace them but keep an eye on the orange rubber 'paint', if it peels off or starts to detach then you need to change BOTH blades.

What are your concerned about in the second photo? BUT where is the other blade? If one blade is damaged then you need to change both blades on the motor concerned.

When checking the blades twist them or bend them slightly, it may help to show up any cracks. Sometimes cracks can be very difficult to spot.

Hi.

I see no cracks.

I send again photos.

Perhaps it is me that is being paranoid and too vigilant with the drone inspection.

Looks like the leading edge has some minor damage,  replace the pair and move on.  make sure you use the new screws provided.

Hi.

I see no cracks.

Best way to know if you need to change the propellers, is to fly the drone and look at the screen while flying... If you get a wavy screen (harmonic distortion) or the drone is struggling to hover in one spot, then you need to change the blade...

Otherwise, yes, you have been too paranoid...

But nothing wrong with inspecting the blade, the tiny screws, the battery clips, the gimbal rubbers on the camera, before each flight...

It could save you lots of money in the long run...

Hello, there. Before each flight, check whether the propellers are cracked, damaged, misshapen or corroded, damaged, or corroded and check whether propeller screws are loosened. If so, replace propellers and screws in strict accordance with propeller replacement instructions.
