Hi All,
I had a chance this morning to do something really cool that I just love todo every chance i get., and that is flying over heavy fog.
My-home point location gives me a really great advantage point to see my Maivic 3 to make these great flights.

These are some pictures I took, video soon to come

Thank you, Yes I am very fortunate to  live in a place that has such a great advantage point that is about 300 feet above the fog bank giving me a chance to get some awesome pictures. and be able to stay in VLOS

Very occasionally I can get that effect if I walk to the top of a nearby hill. But it takes so long, by the time I get there the mist has often dispersed

Mavic 3 - in a 19 min flight at 230 feet above home point which is located about 600 feet above the town . I actually live half way up a 4000 mountain. So I get this opportunity every once in a while, I had zoomed ina little to much on the moon thats why its destorted a bt.

The highest point around these parts is about 2000Ft ASL.

I set off before first light, in thick mist, and got there almost 3 hours later.
And was still an hour from the summit
I'm not as quick as I used to be

Great pictures above the fog - especially the one with the forrest under/between the fog. Just beautiful! Well done

Absolutely beautiful shots.   

Those are some very awe inspiring shots.    Not a view you get to see often so really glad you captured them.

Thank you, That was Friday night Harvest moon , Unfortunately i had to wait for it to clear the mountain to get a good picture of it with the mavic3 , and by that time it had great shrunk in size a little but still a huge bright fll moon
