Working just outside Ballycastle Jamison Potatoes getting potato harvest started with the new addition to the fleet. Grimme Varitron 200 arrived over the summer months and is a replacement for the Dewulf. Digging Navan potatoes with the 6155R and the 6930 John Deeres carting back to the yard.   Given the season just simply look at the size of the those Navan Potatoes going up the elevator into the trailer...  

What a machine!  Great close-up detail.

I guess the nearest place for large expanses of potatoes would be Lincolnshire- about 100 miles to the east from here.

Nope, check back - we're about 100 miles west of Lincolnshire

If you want some to see some real potatoes, you've got to go to South East Idaho!  
I don't live in farm country any more, but I've still got a bit of farmer left in me!  Thanks for sharing.
