Fantastic job on documenting this parade.    I was just commenting to you in another reply that you should enter the Skyborne Sorcerer of Halloween contest.

Ah,  I had replied and said I had a submission for it.  Also just submitted to be in a new art exhibition in Hadleigh,    so what of the odds in being in two art galleries at the same time.

The more you can enter the better the odds will be.  Would be a real coup wot win both.

I did a 30 minute Timelapse with it and there was no noticeable warmth in it at all.  Certainly not when filming the parade.

That's encouraging. When you scan through the posts from the Doom merchants, you wonder how much credence to give to their moans.

I must have missed something,  Ive only seen one or two posts mentioning the temperature and one of those was asking for a graph.

Some chap was claiming he'd read that the gimbal overheated to around 50 degrees. But he was challenged about the source of his claim.  I didn't follow it any further.

Perhaps he was working the gimbal hard by running with it or something.

Probably a good idea,   you can have it done up to a month early and they add it on.

Great to see you spotted this great chance to document the parade. I also have to say the Pocket 3 footage looks really sharp and it seems to handle the low-light situations very nicely. I think your chances for success in the event are very good

thank you H.    The weather that night was nasty and turned to rain at the end.  Sadly we latter discovered that only half of the parade made it to us,  they quit early.

This was so cool, these guys sure know how to celebrate Halloween,, Thanks DA'

Oh Wow..They are serious about their parade. It really was well done and next year you can make sure to get to the start and see the end too.

We will bare that in mind next time,   but that will also involve getting there earlier to get a spot as that area was really crowded.
