Something very different in Northern Ireland and new to Herron Farms  Tumoba 2 row Brussel Sprout harvester working in the hills outside Comber...  Twin tracks, 2.5 tonne hopper with two claws it would be mistake to think this machine was made to hand one of the most love hate vegetables at Christmas time.   Working steadily across the land with the sprouts badly tipped over but the guys are working steadily through the field ready for Santa coming  

Very nicely filmed.   Bit of a slow-mo process but still those guys have it down to a science.

Thanks, I appreciate the well wishes.  I've got a dive set up for Christmas day on an old shipwreck.  Hopefully, that will be a cool adventure.

Yeah, that is what everybody tells me.    Winds have died down so should make for a nice trip out to where the ship is sunk.  Will be heading out soon.

Thanks.  Dive turned out really well.  When I got onsite there was another boat with 2 divers on it that had just finished their dive.  They said there wasn't a lot to see as far as what was left of the ship. So as they left I took my first dive.  I'm not sure what they were talking about as I could see almost the entire wooden keel still just buried a little in the sand.  There was lots and lots of broken pottery all around.  Unfortunately, no gold coins.    Second dive I found about 10 feet of super old rusty anchor chain but alas no anchor.

I sure did.  Diving is very calming so just getting down and making bubbles was worth the dive.

I plan to in the future, especially if I can get a dive buddy.  I usually carry a spear gun with me and sometimes an underwater metal detector so I usually have my hands full.  I need to figure out a way to mount an underwater camera and still be able to control it.  I've had a few close encounters with bull sharks so I'm not giving up my spear gun or long knife to carry a camera.  Having a second diver would afford being able to film and still be safe.

  I much rather not tangle with them unless I have to.  Sometimes a good bump on the nose with the butt of my spear gun is all it takes to convince them to swim off.  Other times they will circle you for quite a while before swimming off.
