I hand launch/recover my Mini 3 Pro so no legs wouldn't be a show stopper to me but would be for many other pilots.  

It doesn't look like it has 360 OA, and it looks alot like the mini 2.

that is true but the tech inside is upgraded

even though it has a mavic pros camera, its slightly bigger, has support for vertical shooting, and has a 1 inch 6k sensor
16km O4+ or O5 transmission
4 fisheye cameras for 360 OA and APAS 5 (or 6 i dunno which APAS were on)
brighter auxilary light
40 minute flight time (higher capacity batteries)
ActiveTrack 6.0
New quickshots
and thats it for now

I’m waiting for the mini pro 5. The 4 just didn’t offer enough to upgrade.
Work on propulsion and new propeller designs.
A silent drone is HIGHLY desirable for those of us who shoot around people but want to avoid drawing attention.

Would be great for dji to implement solar panels in order to increase the flight time over 40 minutes. A 360 camera so we could have great views from all angles. If there was a way to keep this all under 250 grams while considering other important upgrade ideas that would be awesome.

Agreed. My M3P can be rather loud at times.

That would be a first, and what a first it would be! If.

I like the camera idea

I own a Mini 2 and the FPV.  One major issue that has turned me off from upgrading or buying more products is that you have to usually throw out your old controller and goggles if applicable.  I am a software engineer and was formerly an electronics engineer (microprocessor systems hardware designer)  so I know from experience that there are no technical reasons why backwards compatibility can't be incorporated into new controllers and goggles so that they work with all the older products.  Its harder to design backwards compatibility or universality into the UAV itself due to the weight and power consumption restrictions imposed by staying under the 250 gm and giving us 25 min of flight time on a battery, at least in smaller UAVs.    So I'd like to see a mini 5 that addresses any shortcomings of the Mini 4 and comes with a "universal" controller that will work with ANY existing DJI product with ability to upgrade firmware for future products.  I'd also like to see a goggle that will work with any of their products.  Achieving "universal" compatibility probably would require the user to change a setting in software, that's ok.
