How about night shoot with Inspire 1 ? I hope it's better than phantom 2 vision+ camera.

Also it's disappointing there seem no hand catch and no propeller guard on Inspire1. Those things are pretty important. I would take phantom 2 vision+ instead of Inspire1 depends on the situation.

No night shoots so far.  I would not hand catch.  The prop guards have been requested.  The optical flow sensors for indoor venues make the guards essential for most operators.

Here is a raw night shoot.  I apologize for my handheld pans.  They are bad.  The flickering in the video is me trying to adjust the camera settings.  I saw little effect in the low light settings.

Was that recorded at 30fps or 60fps? You get double the light shooting at 30fps.

I wonder if DJI will sell just the new Hybrid FC in the future? That is amazingly stable it looks glued to the sky.

Prop guards would be nice.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but not sure why the optical flow sensors would make guards more essential.  I thought the point of the OF was to make the Inspire more stable during indoor flight, ie. less likely to drift(into a wall or object).

This is true...but, because more people will be using the Inspire in more crowded quarters than, say the Phantom. And it won't be able to fly more than 10 feet up....that's not a lot of room for error with careless spectators.

Video link is not working?

I have removed it.  I am planning on reshooting at 30fps vs 60fps for a better quality product.

Here is a good comparison of the Inspire at 4K and the S900 with a GH4 shooting 4K.

I have seen a video where an inspire was caught in the air behind the camera and it seemed to be fine.the main thing is to have it hovering overhead not in front of you.
As to night shooting there are a couple of examples I have seen and I am very impressed.
There will be prop gaurds made by aftermarket companies soon
I hear.
I am working on a design to protect the camera from a hard landing myself.

I've done quite a few hand catches with the Inspire 1.  Here's a quick video:

This is critical for flying off boats.

Good pilots won't need optic flow...

Oh I didn't expect it can lower landing gear on the hand. I will try that. Thank you for the video
