When creating a WP-flight on the RC2 it doesn't soom very far. When max zoomed in, it's still a big area on the map. It's hard to add waypoints that can't be far from each other. For eg when creating a WP 10m further it is to close to the previous WP on the screen, it selects the previous one.

Now that there isn't really any waypoint-flight software for the M4Pro, please make it possible to zoom further on the map.

It's a small feature but will make WP-flights a lot easier to plan.

This would be easily resolved by switching back to Google maps instead of whatever map source is currently being used by the DJI RC2.  They are quite frankly rather terrible.

I agree.  I have begun to explore waypoints on my M4P, and I cannot work effectively with waypoints for missions on small properties ... everything is too tight.

I have the exact same problem. Waypoint editing is not feasible this way … we must be able to further zoom in!

Agree with the RC2 not having enough map zoom for mapping missions. Am using m4pro also

Yeah DJI, you dupped us into thinking the air3/rc2 combo would get SDK support, then you pulled the plug on that, AT LEAST give us the ability to have a proper map zoom...

I was one dupped into thinking the air3/rc2 combo would get SDK support, on this alone I would not buy another DJI product...and currently I poses 4 - 2 drones and 2 cameras...on this alone you are loosing a customer, not long before others follow...the bigger they are the harder they fall

Put you browser (iPad, iPhone, Mac, Win, Linux) into:
www.waypointmap.com

There you can make all sorts of Waypoint missions the easy way, export and then load it into your controller…

Secondly, when I tested it on the site previously five months ago (and today) with a simple circular waypoint mission, it created an ellipse instead. This consisted of two steps, step 1 was to draw a circle with the relevant tool, and step 2 was to generate the waypoints. Here's what it produces:

This circle that become an ellipse is really strange!
Thought that "bug" had been fixed...

Me personally never use the circle tool, just the other tools available.

Have you any clue what's impact the numbers of points that converts from the circle?
A small circle, pointless to have too many waypoints...

Yeah, I had read a couple of months back that the circle 'bug' had been fixed.

Not sure why there is so many waypoints, as there's nothing in the settings below the map. I made another circle about four times the diameter and end up with 140 waypoints!
