The gorge is ~10 km long and filled here and there with abandoned structures, mostly houses, as there is no road besides dirth one crossing the river multiple times and the train it's strange enough sone of them are still inhabited, but they are further in the gorge - last time I was visiting I was amazed who can leave there

Interesting.  I guess the few inhabitants there must just live off the land then as it seems to be a somewhat remote location.
