I'm an experienced fpv pilot that tunes my own drones.  I bought the dji fpv because it was relatively inexpensive now and the drone itself was only twice the cost of what the cheapest RID module is.  However after flying it a bit freestyle I came to realize the tune on this drone is very substandard.  Specifically it experiencecs a lot of prop wash oscillations in tight maneuvers.   It seriously needs a better tune.  Is there any way to accomplish this?

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. You can go to "Remote Controller Settings" and adjust your "Gain & Expo" based on your preferences. Have a great day.

These are just the rates for your controller not the actual pids though?  It's not going to stop it from prop wash oscillations will it?

It does fly but not as well as say a Nazgul. It has its ups (auto landing, "stop" button, good gps, longish battery) but the camera is mediocre and the flight characteristics as well. I sold mine as I hardly ever flew it once I "graduated" to a "real" fpv...I'm pretty sure there is no way to get to the PIDs to really tune it.

I'm interested in hacking mine and improving its flight characterstics in any way possible.  The fact I got mine as part of a kit for less than probably $200 basically makes this a real potential to try to improve on it and make its performance on the level of something never seen.

I think it has way more potential than out of the box.  I've already hacked the battery to use normal lipos which is really its biggest downfall $100+ batteries is unexceptable.

Dji has released the api for the mini 2 and other drones, they should open source this and control of its pids as its near the end of its life and would give it extra life.

I was mainly interested in this drone because for less than $200 you get rid, and even adsb in.  That's crazy.  RN an rid module for my real fpv drones costs a minimum of $80.

Hi there. Regretfully, the DJI FPV Goggles V2 does not support manually setting the PID. We appreciate your patience.
