What causes the difference in H/D before take-off and after landing?



It doesn't bother me, but...

I think it is "H" that isn't the most accurate that may cause "D" to be a little off.  Maybe a URE of 2 meters?

Height is calculated with a barometer and it's not uncommon for the drone to not know the real altitude during and after a flight,  Ive since this much higher after a flight and not just on the avata but all my DJI drones.   

The flight lasted 5 minutes. Flying over trees 20m, distance 60m and a small slalom. Takeoff and landing in the same place. The height difference, according to telemetry, is over 3 m.

Hi there. If it's an automatic return, there will be some precision error with GPS positioning, so there might be a discrepancy. "H" uses a barometer to determine the elevation at which takeoff occurs, and there is a certain margin of error. Have a nice day.
