At my favourite meditating spot. I had company this morning.
I carefully deployed the Pocket2, so as to not disturb the fisher.

Looks like he was hungry.

It happens.

One of those moments where the camera is at just the right place at a right time. I know the frustration of scaring the subject away as well when attempting to take the camera out for recording video, but seeing this, it seems like you were more successful in it than I usually am, as you at least got some footage out of it.

There are quite a few along this stretch of river - and the canal.
It's normal to see one if you walk a couple of miles along the banks.
But this was right in the village - albeit in a quiet memorial garden.

Well done for not spooking it,   I always manage to scare them off,   or perhaps this one was just really hungry.

Our local ones fly off even if you are 100ft away on the other side of the river to them.

Well I finally conquered the drums for Another One Bites The Dust by Queen.  It's really a good 4/4 rock beat but I had to get my tempo up to 112 BPM and I was kind of stuck at 95 BPM for a part of the week.  Now I'm going to work on Back in Black by AC/DC as it has a similar beat but only 94 BPM.  It will help me with timekeeping and linear patterns between the snare drum and hi-hat.
