Thinking I was formatting my SD card, I accidentally formatted the internal drive on my Action 2. I have not recorded anything to the internal drive since my mess up. Is there a way to recover the video files that were on the internal drive. I tried EaseUS recover software, but it only found three document files totally under a megabyte of info. Is there a better software to use? Or, is there another way to retrieve the files? I attached the internal drive to my Macbook Pro and, unfortunately, confirmed the files were not visibile. I've been reading about similar situations and learned if the files weren't recorded over, which these weren't, the video I shot should still be on the internal drive.
Any thoughts, suggestions or guidance would be deeply appreciated.

People do this all the time
There should be way undelete, unformat

did you try free version? it has 500mb limit
