The creek is a tributary of the river Camel, joining it at Padstow. The trestle bridge used to carry the single rail line from the east into Padstow harbour.The Camel Trail is one of the most popular recreational cycle trails in the country, perfect for bike hire to discover its secrets.
The Camel trail (an old railway line) runs from Padstow to Wenfordbridge passing through Wadebridge and Bodmin along the route.
The trail passes through beautiful wooded countryside in the Camel Valley as well as the picturesque Camel Estuary.

There's the Victoria monument over to the right, on the hill, but I didn't have time to get close to that either.

I won't ask DA's question. Great spot. So the bridge is now a walk way?

On the RC it didn't look particularly special, but it's great that they preserved it and the former railway bed as a long-distance cycling/walking path.
I've been told I should have flown under it, by a few of the FPV jockeys

No doubt with Depp, DAFlys & AJ all pushing the envelope on FPV flying they want to see bridges flown under, buildings being dived and pastures being ripped.
