Hello - does anyone have experience with whether the DJI Mic 2 is automatically activated when you have previously put the camera to sleep with the remote control for over 30 minutes (OA4 does not wake up automatically after a 30 minute break with the remote control)?

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Before we proceed further,
can we confirm if you put the mic in the charging case?

Looking forward to your response. Thank you!

No the microphone does NOT wake up automatically.

I have mic in crash helmet and camera on front windscreen of motorbike.

I had done some recording and put camera in standby.
The microphone shut down and did not come back on.
Have the video I have now is of roaring wind :-(

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Hi, no, it is placed in a motorcycle helmet. It is a little tricky to press "on" in the helmet, i have to take the helmet of to touch the "on" button on the mic.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

To turn on/off the device,
you can only do it by pressing and hold the power button on the transmitter and receiver to turn them on or off.

Should you have any other questions,
kindly message us for assistance.

Maybe A DJI mic lav mic ran to the Helmet, the mic on the outside,  can be a solution, till DJI team finds a way to meet the consumer needs. then you have the advantage of the mic  in its full then hidden in the helmet and less controls

you can have a wire from your head to the outside by the chest, that is 18 inches
