Yes,  they have slowly been re appearing along there.   Probably not many more to go now.  

Lovely light. Nice spot for a house as well (depending of the train frequency though)

Thats the old maternity house,    built before the railway I believe.   Trains every 15 minutes at peak times though.

I think it's been wishful thinking on their part.    Although I saw one preparing to head off in yesterdays rain so he was very optimistic.

Optimistic or just heading out and hoping for the best, either way at least he gave it a shot.

Im following a guy with almost zero sailing experience who's decided to sail to America,    although due to some issues with the boat he's now on his second boat and has just set off around the UK first to learn a bit of sailing on route,  and even he's mad enough to go out in that weather.

I think that was a wild dream,  we'll see how well his bob around the UK goes first,   he's even cutting out Scotland and using the canal across.

It will,   he's taking advantage of the a feature of the marina he's at that lets him use any of the other marinas in the chain for 30 days each.  So he'll be able to stay in quite good comfort on the trip.
