Does anyone know the new features that will be included with the dji mini 5 pro for when it comes out

Other than pure speculation and rumors only DJI knows what will be in the Mini 5 and or Mini 5 Pro when they are eventually released.

To be confirmed but fun to guess

We don't know yet.
But I'm guessing its an incremental upgrade like the 4 was.

It's likely not coming out until mid 2025, but I am hoping for a dual camera system with a lens like the air 3

Anything new on the release date ? probably go for the 4 just now if the release day is going to be mid 25.

Higher capacity batteries are heavier, and to keep the total weight below 250g, other parts of the airframe must be lightened.
So, if we have four motors spinning, how about making them kinetic chargeable by their action to help consume the IMU, FCS control, etc.?

All great items for a Wishlist. But call me cynical. I would be surprised (but grateful) if they released it with a 1" sensor, which would cannibalize the supposed soon-to-be-released Air 3S (unless the latter is getting it's own sensor bump to MFT).

Any thoughts on dual cam?

I read a lot about the mission impossible with size, balance, gimbal and so many different things... but tech is growing so fast and this would be the insane upgrade, because the digital zoom on mini 4 pro isn't very usable.

To be fair, I would even sacrifice the battery duration and just bring 3 more batteries from fly more combo (total 6x batteries) and have dual cam features, instead to extend battery duration.

Not sure they would include the 4G dongle, considering it’s illegal for many of us.
Here in the UK for example, you need a special sim issued by one of the four main network providers.. along with written permission. Plus a licence from ofcom

hope it will have tap to fly  and replace waypoints that waste battery

Have you checked the release dates against FAA approvals for these drones? it will be able to give an indication of how long it will take from application for FAA approval to release.

I'd really much like different optics modules to swap from 24mm to 70mm using the components from the Air 3.

I went to one of the DJI retailers asking about the release date of the mini 5 pro and the answer was: We are not allowed to say but there won't be a new mini pro release...

The dji mini 5 pro has the same batteries dji mini 4 pro ?
