Ambiance Returns.......

She'd been on a long cruise to Bergen in Norway and now returns to be unloaded before setting off again.     Not even low tide is stopping her making it to the port.

They do a different trip each time I think,     at the start of the year it went to Australia and back.

Doesn't seem excessive for what's on offer, but 40 days at sea would be rather boring.

The Mediterranean and Norwegian Fjord cruises we've been on were fine. The ship moves from destination to destination overnight whilst you're asleep. Just the odd day at sea.

Id be tempted by an artic cruise and,  I was once tempted to try easy cruise even you remember that brand.

We always went with Costa, until they crashed one.

Yes, that was the fella,  he was greek I think.   Dont hear much about him these days.  We used to watch the documentary shows that followed him and his business about.

Easyjet still seems to be going strong. Ryanair are struggling a bit according to the press.

Weve used both a lot pre C19 and theres nothing in them,     it's all about the routes they are flying and the times.   So many times weve struggled to get someone and back again at the days/times we wanted.

I think our flying days are over.  Too much hassle at the airports.  Ferry ports are bad enough.

I cant bare the thought of being in enclosed spaces like that,   something I need to work on.

SWMBOd friend is now working random shifts unloading that boat soI Wass hoping for the inside scoop on how its time keeping is,  but so far no joy.

I can blame C19 for it,    we tried very hard not to get it and its left its mark on me in other ways.

We've been lucky in that respect too, although I'm not convinced Mrs.B (and by association, me) haven't had a variant mild form of it - even though tests proved negative.  She's still not 100% after eight months.

It's quite possible for the tests not to show mild infection.

I think that may have been the case. I didn't suffer unduly, nor for very long.  But, eight months on Mrs.B hasn't really regained her form.
