I Bought a DJI Avata 2 a few weeks ago. They are awesome to say the least! However, I have been unable to access the drones internal memory storage at all. It will charge a battery when you connect a usb/c cable to the drone, I can 'quick transfer' files from the drone through the dji fly app- so I know the drive is functioning- yet after 3 differnet cables, and trying a few other pc's to connect to- still nothing comes up on any of my cpu's. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance new drone friends.

To access the drone's memory you might have to install the appropriate DJI Assistant 2 on the computer. Boot it then connect the drone via USB.
That said, why not remove the memory card from the drone and put it into a reader attached to your computer?
You don't waste battery life that way and it is probably a lot easier and quicker that messing with other stuff.

Thanks for the response. I have since been using the memory card option- without issue. Its actually nice that DJI gives you a few work arounds for data handling. I will try the DJI assistant route- but would still like to get access to internal memory, at this point,  just for the sake of knowing it works the way it should.

I know some people use those alternative methods but, truth be told, I think anything other than removing the card and putting it in a reader is a bit of techy gimmickery or a techy marketing ploy.

I tried the quick transfer thing once with a mini 2 and it was so slow that I stopped it before the first file had been transferred. I haven't been able to get it to work since then lol.

The only time it might be a necessity is if you forgot to refit the card and imagery was recorded on the drone's internal memory. I have had that happen once and from memory had to jump through a few hoops to either get the imagery transferred to the card, or, directly to computer.
I don't remember what I had to do

Understandable, "just for the sake of it" gets us all at times.
