Hello everyone! I have Air 3 since September last year and I mainly shoot with the zoom camera but sometimes I also use the wide camera. I noticed there is problem with the autofocus. The drone has not crashed or anything before. The issues isn't consistent. But happens at least once a flight. The wide shots are out of focus especially the foreground. Its not that they are totally blurred but two photos compared there is certainly difference. Flying after sunset especially its very hard to get right focus but it also happens during daylight. This rarely also happens with the zoom camera too. Also the street lights when i shoot after sunset (when its not totally dark too) are blurred. They are like bokeh - not focused. After i noticed this issue several months ago i started tapping where i want to focus but no result. I decided to open focus chart on my monitor and test. The drone cannot autofocus on the chart correctly. I have to go to manual focus and moove the slider to get focus. That means drone can focus on that distance too but just the autofocus cannot handle it. I just can start using manual focus during every flight now but the drone has AF too so it should be working. I contacted DJI and they said to reset the camera parameters or updated firmware. Updated and reseted many times - no result. Now they say I should send the drone to them for diagnostics. Should I send it? I also have Care Refresh but they said if there is issue it will be warranty. I am worried since the issue doesnt happen exactly on all photos and if i send it to them they may be "lucky" and get only focused photos. What do you think? Do you have the same issue? I have heard from other A3 owners that they have similar issue.

I have an A3 for a month. So far I have no such problem. But could you upload some sample footage?

I don't have that problem on my air 3 so that is not normal.  Seems you have done all you can do for troubleshooting in the field.  I'd send it in to get a proper diagnosis.

I have the same. I have 4 flight sessions in 2 weeks and all my images are slightly unsharp or off focus. I filed a product replacement request. Very disappointed in the image quality, flight experience is great except over water

When did you purchase the drone? Did they replace the camera or else?

I saw your forum post now. Your drone is still in the 15 day return period so they replaced probably? But it seems the google photos link doesn't work. Can you send me the photos so I can compare if the "bluurynes" is same?

AIR 3 have an issue with focusing on the right part of image. AF in this condition will partially work, with a Wide lens that stretches the image you will see worst.
We exchanged 3 in order to get one that have properly aligned lenses and can focus a sharp image all over.
Of course, we do not talk about the normal softness of image when using any wide lens, but a blur in a quarter right or even half screen.

Check yours. We cannot see the pics, try to add them here as UPLOAD

Did you receive new drone? Is the issue with soft images fixed?
