For various reasons, I've been unable to use my drone for a couple of years now. I finally want to start using it again, though, but neither battery is charging at all or even has any kind of light on them at all. I did read that batteries can go into hibernation mode, but I'm not sure if mine are completely dead/ if there's anything I can do to get them to work again since I can't afford to spend £130 a pop for two replacement batteries :')

The charger I used worked fine when charging the remote, so I don't think there's an issue with that.

How about looking online (ebay perhaps) for genuine Dji low usage batteries. I'm sure I've seen some in the past.

The battery may be over-discharged if its power is critically low when being put into storage for an extended period of time without being charged. You need to check the battery’s power every three months once and fully charge and discharge it. Please perform this routine maintenance to keep your battery healthy.
