I usually shoot b-roll footage, so I do not need the audio track.

It is possible to cut audio away in post, of course, but I'd like to avoid to record audio straight in camera (OP3).

If users want to record a video without sound, it is recommended to cancel the sound with third-party Edit software.

Maybe this will help in ways to get  your mic muted, its an option anda  good one
