To have been an old toxic dump many years ago it is so gratifying to see how nature has reclaimed it and turned it back into a wonderful location.  That really is a fantastic testing location.

It's funny that I think it's the source of my technical issues. Less wifi signal and radio interference form Costco may have been the culprit on my emlid, but things are working now. Going to Long Island tomorrow to map.

It worked sporadically but we got quite a bit done. It seems the phone is doing too muhc. tracking the satellites through an app, acting as a hotspot for the emlid, the drone and the transmitter.  I can put a phone card in the emlid or ad a tablet with a card to the mix, I will have to ask a pro at Advexture or emlid for some advice, because I don't know enough to fix it.

I wonder if a portable wifi hotspot device would work?  That way you're not sharing hotspot data from your phone and you'd have a lot mroe throughput.  They are a tad expensive but might solve the problem.

We tried one and it helped with the remote controller but the emlid may need a phone card too. To decide which is right I am going to call advexture where I bought it and the emlid company. Since they both require extra subscriptions and all these subscriptions can run away on you.

Hopefully, their tech support will be able to come up with the most viable solution.

T-Mobile says the hotspot has a hard time handling to things at once. They can give ma a card for the emlid for $10 per month. Waiting for a word with Advexture.

no, it gives lat and long every 10 seconds or so for a coupe of locations. but I think it's theinterruptions that cause issues.
