Dear comrades,

I've been using DJI Avata 2 for a while, and I met some disturbing issue: while you use no EIS (for stabilising later), you miss frames because the drone records not a whole video from take off to landing, but it devides it by parts of approx. 3.5 GB files. When you combine them together in any of video editting apps, you miss that frame on the border of two files.

I'm not sure why it's so. If you know how to avoid missing frames, please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Really?  So one frame goes missing every time a new file is created - presumably with all DJI drones?  I've never noticed.

Yes, when you record with no EIS (for GyroFlow it later). After GyroFlow you put it in any editor and see this jump from one part to the next one. At least, I've met this issue with my Avata 2 and more than 20 batteries

I've just checked my video, and I don't think it's happening with the Avata 1.  Maybe just an Avata 2 issue?

I don't have any experience with other DJI drones, maybe you are right dude.

I hope that someone who met the same issue would help to figure out how to save frames

UPD (SOLVED):

It's not about missing frames, but about GyroFlow's way of stabilising.

You have to put all the parts of one whole video into GyroFlow and merge them in 1 video file, so GyroFlow will see the connection between parts and will stabilise the transition correctly
