Take a look at this YT vídeo...this guy says the ham_file doesn't work anymore after the last updates...is that true?

It's just clickbait, and 3 month old clickbait at that, there's been updates since and none of them broke ham_cfg_support

Ham file works better now,  we can now select channels etc whereas with the initial version this was not possible.

I hope it works, because having an fpv drone and not being able to fly more than 300, 400m in dstance it's like a deal breaker...

Even without the ham file mine went a lot further than 400m

Yes, that's the truth with my avata 2.
I 'm going to try the ham_cfg_support to see if it works.

Make sure you let the goggles boot up first before turning on the drone or it doesnt always work.

Acc. to my own experience this switch-on sequence was only before FW V01.00.0300.
Since FW V01.00.0300 the HAM FCC is always on, even if I switch on Avata 2 first and Goggles 3 last.
Which is annoying, because I cannot switch to legal operation anymore, so I've decided to remove the HAM via factory reset.
Would be great if somebody else could confirm this.

I must confess Ive not tested it since the last software update,   I know that the general advice with the initial release was that order.

Seems to work either way around,  but I dont know how reliable that would be.

Factory reset is the only path to remove it.
