I want to make OP3 focus on my body as I want to record indoors exercise videos. I don't want the active tracking enabled because the camera will focus and follow my face.
I have to give the lense something to focus as otherwise, from experience, the footage will comes out, out of focus and blurry.

I thought locking the gimbal would solve this but the gimbal lock doesn't work and no solution has been provided so far. My understandign is that the gimbal lock, locks the point of focus. anyways, it doesn't work.

I don't want viewers to get dizzy with active tracking. Any advice please?

There are 3 types of focus mode;
1) Single: Auto-focus operates one single time, which is suitable for capturing
motionless subjects.
2) Continuous: Auto-focus continues to operate, which is suitable for capturing
moving subjects.
3) Product Showcase Mode: Focuses on subjects in the foreground, which is
suitable for showing subjects closer to the camera. Product Showcase Mode
is only available in Video mode.
