After a long time no flying with several of my drones, I started this week to update the software (no fly zones, etc) but the app using DJI fly is not working anymore. Also my Mavic Air and Phantom 3SE don't function anymore. If I want to download and re-install the apps they giving errors by start up.
Now everytime "Fly Drone Controller" app apears who whant's to install bet therefore you have to pay a monthly fee. Is that correct or miss I something in the (new) world of dromens. It would be fine if somebodey can give me the solution about my topic.

If the app is wanting a monthly charge or subscription you found some junk on the Android or Apple store.  The DJI app for android is only available from DJI's site.  Don't just trust any application, it sounds like you found a un-official one that just wants your $$$.

Bud as far as I can see, my problem is solved. I purchased external software who can handle my Phantom 3SE and Mavix Air with the same software.

So, thanks for your corporate thinking, as far as for now I'm happy again.

Thanks for your advice. Indeed, but after a while of testing all 3 of my drones the software works extreem good at all the things I used before. So no problems at the moment.

I have not found the need for third party software as of yet.  That said, I am disappointed that the app in the google play store is not up to date.  I did have to go to DJI's site to download the newest software and both of my devices really kicked up a fuss.  They don't like to side load by default and that's what we're doing.  As long as I can keep flying, I'm okay but I hope it doesn't become more difficult over time to do so.  I don't get to fly often and I'm not spending $1,500 just to have new hardware when I do wish to fly.  Please keep the software up to date and easily accessible.

Be wary of apps on the Play Store pretending to be the official DJI app.  The real DJI app is free & must be downloaded directly from DJI.  A legitimate third party app that works is the Litchi app.  Litchi is a paid app that offers many extra features to your drone like autonomous Waypoint support.

Hi Dirty Bird, excuse for the late response and thanks for our remarks about my topic. After reading your comment I've downloaded the original DJI app as well and replaced it for the one I just borrowed. All is working fine now and I'm satisfied.  Thanks for your help.
