This is my first flight with my DJI Neo.  I am quite pleased with my purchase.
After this flight after much firmware updating I was able to fly the Neo with all of my accessories.
This was shot in 4K 30fps. I kinda like the Neo with Goggles 3 and the motion controller.

Thanks for this. Apart from a brief follow test between showers on Monday, the weather hasn't allowed me to get my Neo out of it's case since. Can't wait to give it a full work-out when the rain eventually stops. Glad to see that yours survived a brush with the tree leaves. And watching you crouch to get it to follow indoors was a hoot

nice video, I got a question, how far was the dron in "direction track, high medium" ? also if I use microphone, how disturbing the drone noise was?

Interesting first flight.    The Neo really performed well.  Interesting action on your part to get it down low enough to get through the door.

Thanks very much, Lemagnifique.  Distance was in the 6 to 8m range.  If using a phone to record audio the prop noise is canceled out.  Most of my flights had audio recordings, and I could not hear any prop noise.

DJI must release an update to reduce the sharpening and over saturation...it's very very obvious and not a good look.

Got a break in the weather and successfully tried out the follow function on my Neo.  Great results. I posted the footage in the works section.

Not sure if it was YT, but the footage looked rather jerky, and the movement, especially down the stairs, was not smooth.

Looks like it really needs obstacle avoidance. Would be interesting to see how it goes with waves along the beach and over a drop (cliff-face or balcony); I have the Hover X1 and these scenarios it struggles with.

That's a pity, as there are quite a few instances I'd have like to do so. I guess with no GPS positioning on the Neo itself, and changing water surface, it can't lock it's position.

Yes. I guess that with only downward sensing, the water surface might confuse it.

The Neo is a totally different category to the Mini, and I think will open the market up for DJI as most people just want to get a simple holiday snap or video, and not have the hassle of setting up and learning controls.

Then why the restriction of flight over water? I would assume that the changing water the surface would only confuse the Neo if it didn't use GPS positioning. Unless the receiver isn't as accurate.
