The beginning of our vacation took us to Charny-sur-Meuse and Luxeuil-les-Bains.
Luxeuil-les-Bains is a charming spa town located in the east of France, famous for its thermal baths that have been visited since Roman times.
The town is situated in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and is surrounded by lush forests and green hills.
The historic center is rich in medieval architecture, with narrow streets, elegant half-timbered houses, and the impressive Saint-Colomban Abbey.
Luxeuil offers visitors peace, wellness, and a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for reflection.
The thermal baths are surrounded by beautiful parks, and the water is said to have healing properties.
In addition to wellness, the town has a rich cultural heritage, with festivals and markets that keep local traditions alive.
Charny-sur-Meuse, located in the Grand Est region near Verdun, is a small village steeped in history.
It lies in an area that was heavily affected during World War I and serves as a reminder of the heroic battles fought here.
The serene setting along the Meuse River contrasts with the past of war and destruction.
Today, Charny-sur-Meuse offers peace and reflection, with monuments and cemeteries paying tribute to fallen soldiers.
The landscape is green and tranquil, with forests and hiking trails inviting exploration.
The village offers a calm, rural charm, with a deep historical significance that resonates with visitors.

Gorgeous organ base. Lovely music. Nicely shot and edited as usual. Did you camp?
Thank you Depp
Yes we did; we took a roundtrip with our camper (whonmobil) thru some Frence departments.
Few days here, few days there with our focus on the Jura, the Alpes and the Vercors.

Wonderful architecture, Trikke. The detailed carving on the organ loft was outstanding. Great videography.
Thank you Blériot
That organ was so devine, we studied it with our mouths open. So much detail in that wood, unbelievable.
The persons that made that were real craftsmen
We appreciate you for sharing your experience and the remarkable footage with our DJI Forum community. Your contribution is highly valued and appreciated. Safe flight always!

I can imagine it playing, too. I bet the sound is also impressive.
Oh yes very flexible. We're doing these kind of vacations since 2005 and it my most preferable way of going on vacations. And with longer travels the motorcycle goes with us on a trailer so that we can explore has much as we can.
Wow, just wow! The carvings on the organ area were absolutely awe-inspiring. So ornate and very detailed woodwork. Looked like a really nice camp ground near the end of the video. Superb choice for the background music. You knocked this one out of the ballpark Patrick.

Near the end of our 20 days trip those campsites were annoying me - I don't think it's my way to travel, at least not for very long times. Much better than sleeping in a tent, though.

Sometimes we stay on a campsite and other times we stay somewhere in total freedom.
So we change from time to time and we also never stay somewhere more then three days.
It's not something that everybody else likes but we done almost everything and the camper is wat we enjoyed to most.

There is to be an organ recital in our village, at a small church, on 29th September.
It should be interesting to go and listen. But the organ is much more modest than the one you have shown.

Maybe things will be better today. I picked up a lottery scratch off ticket yesterday which is something I rarely do. However, I had an urge to try one and it paid off as it had a $300 prize on it.
No rain to the start of the day so things are looking up once again.

That's a promising start of the day. Would be nice that it keeps up for a few days then.

I hope we have quite a few days of sun and no rain. Today will at least be Day 2, if we can believe today's forecast. I hope you are having a great week Patrick.
