OK took the neo out today for its first test run. Wind has been too strong over last few days so spent the time reading the manual. Yes you should read the manual. because I'm coming back to drone flying after a 4 year break (Covid, house move ect) I need to restart from the beginning. So today was stage 1 drone only mode using the inbuilt AI. I have to say I'm impressed. From zero to hero in about 5 mins. Simple easy and providing you know the limitaions and shoot accordingly its really simple.

Although I tested all of the quick modes the video only shows those that worked together. As I wanted to quickly upload to my facebook account I used kdenlive and rendered to 1080p. Tomorrow I will go to the second stage of DJI Fly control and if I feel confident Controller operation. Interestingly I spent more time avoiding dogs with walkers on this trail as I was concerned that they might find this little drone a tempting meal/toy.
