Hello everyone, I want to get the Dji Neo but I see that it is out of stock on Dji.com. Can someone recommend me sone other sites to get Neo immediately? I know Amazon has it but it is a preorder.

No the Neo seems to be in stock but all the batteries are gone. It can take weeks or months like the FPV Controller that has been out of stock att Dji.com since June. Lucke to get mine at launch.

No controller with the Fly More Combo. I thought I read something it had to do with DJI's market research, and they found most U.S. users already had a controller. It's an interesting direction considering this is a drone targeted at first time buyers and getting more people exposed to using drones in everyday life experiences.

ah ok. I'm in Canada and actually don't want a controller with the fmc. Sad they don't provide this option in Canada.

With that said, I like the combo pack sans remote since I already have a RC 2 controller with the Mini 4 Pro. I wasn't planning on using this like a traditional drone, as I have my Mini's and Mavic for that kind of work. I wanted something automatous, small, and quick to launch for getting different shots in putting together YouTube vlogs. As long as the footage is usable for social media, that's all I care about.

yea me too, I have the rc2 and I have the goggles 3 plus rc3 with my avata 2

DJI and DHL delivered my neo to the wrong address and after almost 3weeks DJI is still responding like I'm reporting for the first time. DJI tells me to contact courier, courier does not respond to my emails until yesterday, saying they've got my complaint and will check it(after almost 3weeks!). I don't live in the UK and I hope I won't be told to contact the police for a drone I never recieved. This is disappointing for a big company like DJI and my first drone purchase.

Sure hope so.  Once the snow falls it is indoors season until Spring.  Primary reason why I purchased the Neo. Do fly on the frozen surface of L. Superior in the Spring.  No trees to hit.  Just pressure ridges if you fly low. But in recent years there has been no safe ice.

Assuming you live in MN. Living along the Southshore of L. Superior in cheesehead country.  Rural Northwoods.  Only know of one other DJI user. He lives in the county across the Bay. Unlike him my blood runs Purple. SKOL!!!!

Pleasure to meet you! I grew up in MN but now live in western WI, but I do cheer for the Vikes...lol. I actually just changed my user ID since the MN could be seen as misleading for location.

I was going to use the Neo for ventures onto frozen lakes for ice fishing. I was thinking of doing some testing with the fall colors, but not sure if peak color will have passed up here by the time U.S. users start getting their hands on this.

Personally if the USA Fly More Combo kit included the RCN-3 I would have just purchased the bare drone and added couple batteries plus charging hub.  Must be one of data points in DJI's market research.

Outside of users like me that already have a compatible controller. IIRC, the RCN3 is $129 and the FPV RC3 is $199.  Bit of price savings, but if the RCN3 can only be used with a smart phone v. Goggles 3 it is a no go for me.  Totally clueless regarding the RCN3.  Wondering what type of gimbals it has FPV RC3 has Hall v. potentiometer gimbals. Durability of Hall effect gimbals is a plus. Guessing replacement gimbals even if available from DJI are expensive. Hard to swallow the price of DJI controllers, but no choice flying the Avata2 or Neo.

I recieved a response from dji via email showing me that dhl denied my claim and confirmed that it was delivered. The drone wasnt delivered to my address or signed by anyone at the vicinity of my address. I searched online and found the location of the delivery photo and it turned out dhl delivered my drone to a totally different place instead of my delivery address. I wish i knew about dji and dhl before i ordered my first drone. Its so easy to lose money ordering a dji drone on their website
