Yes, I completely agree with you. The Pocket 3 is a real powerhouse when it comes to low light and filming videos in cinema quality. In fact, it is so good that it will probably be difficult for DJI to really improve the quality. I am really curious about the Pocket 4. With the new firmware update for the Osmo Action 5 Pro, I have to say that the low-light performance of the action cam has gone up a whole notch and I am actually really positively surprised by the performance of this little powerhouse. I am really pleased that I bought both cameras and can now use all the advantages of the models. Since the last firmware update, not only has the super night mode been improved by a long way, but the stability and noise intensity as well as the blurring of the recordings themselves have also become much better in normal mode in low light. If the generally complained about incorrect driving profile of the standard setting is now changed, I think you can be more than happy with the Osmo Action 5. Since I record everything in d-log M format anyway, it is of secondary importance to me. Even with the previous firmware, it was possible to achieve a similarly good image quality from both cameras in less than optimal lighting conditions. In our last video, we use both cameras as a multi-setup and I think you can hardly see any difference in image quality and stability. At least without paying special attention to it. |
