I lost my mavic 2 pro, fell into a ravine... I have all the other accessories from the fly mor combo including the RC. If I buy new drone, drone only (used / refurbished) can I connect my RC to the new one, or is that problematic?

Yes you can easily pair a replacement Mavic 2 to your current Mavic 2 RC.

Yes, you will have to put them in Pairing mode, you can search instructions online, or on DJI Tutorials YouTube channel.

It is very easy to swap drones or controllers especially if you use the button sequence on the controller, that is applicable to the RC1A and RC1B controllers but I would guess there is a button sequence on the smart controller if that is what you have.

Incidentally if you use the app to trigger pairing on the controller ensure that you set the controller as the "primary" and not the " secondary ".
