I recorded a hyperlapse waypoint yesterday, it is a 360 degree circle of 19 waypoints, at an altitude of 50m.
Saved it,
Went out this morning to repeat in the dark and when I hit start it said going to first waypoint, then proceeded shoot up to 100m and cancel waypoint ( I've got it set to max height 100m).
Can't edit the hyperlapse waypoints to check settings (like you can withnormal waypoints), so mission aborted, can't do hyperlapse waypoints in the dark.
Anyone else had issues with hyperlapse waypoints?

However, my issue is with Hyperlapse waypoints. This works similarly, but in a very limited way, ie you can't adjust any waypoints, only delete them. You cannot see what any of the waypoint settings are at any point. I know in this instance I created the hyperlapse waypoints at 50m above gound and made a circle, followed by saving it. I ran the hyperlink waypoint and it worked fine. The next day I ran it in the dark to create a nightime hyperlapse, but the drone went straight upto 100m an stopped ( my upper limit setting is 100m). If the hyperlapse waypoints worked as normal waypoints I could check the settings.

Don't forget this, the drone must be airborne to access Hyperlapse waypoints. I have edited several Hyperlapse waypoint files this way.

Thanks for reply, I'd be interested how you edited Hyperlapse waypoints, the only editing of Hyperlapse waypoints I can do is delete each one.

Hi, sorry no video, the hyperlapse didn't start as it cancelled itself when the drone hit my height sealing of 100m. I did another hyperlapse a week ago and ran it in the daytime. I'm going to try it again at night soon. I'll see if it works this time, hopefully it may have been a glitch.

Hi tried the hyperlapse waypoint again today.
Created the hyperlaspe waypoint last week and saved it.
Tested it the same day after saving and it worked fine, circling at 50m above ground.
Tried again today, taking off from same position.
Took it up and then loaded hyperlapse waypoint, drone came straight down.. I cancelled at 2m above ground
I tried it first in normal hyperlapse waypoint, ie waypoint 1 to 14, then in reverse, 14 to 1 ( the one I screne recorded)
So something isn't working right on hyperlapse waypoints, after you've saved them and not used for a little while.

I thought it was upto date on updates but when I checked I wasn't. So I've now updated the rc and drone.
The rc is now at dji rcs v04.01.0000
The drone is now at 01.00.0700
The dji fly app is now vsn 1.15.0

I went out and created a hyperlapse waypoint, and saved it.
Reloaded it and all ok.
I then turned off the rc and the drone, then turned both back on again.
Reloaded the saved hyperlapse waypoint and it worked great...

So the updates sorted it.
If I may, can i make a request for the developers in that the hyperlapse waypoints be linked to the normal waypoints.
This would allow me to use existing waypoints for hyperlapses and edit them off line.

Many thanks for all your help and understanding, it's still all quite daunting and new flying
a drone, but it's the knowing that there is help available from people like yourself that makes this
new journey fun.

Also I like the new auto focus icon on the front screen of the rc, makes it a lot easier to use.

Is this a known bug?

1. For drones without internal storage, check whether a microSD card has been inserted.
2. Check whether the flight mode/remote controller mode is P mode and whether the signal is strong.
3. Check whether the lighting conditions are good and whether there are obstacles around the subject.
4. Check whether the mobile phone is compatible with the DJI GO 4/DJI Fly app.
5.  Refresh the aircraft firmware version and see if it is valid.

Hi, thanks for this, have checked all that. It worked fine in all quickshot modes until recently, and the only thing ive done is update the rc and mini 4 pro.  It still works fine in mastershots (which includes rocket in the routine). Regards chris

Hi, no you misunderstood me, the rocket mode is still not working in quickshots. After doing the rocket video, the gimbol then looks up to the sky as it returns to the start position. It remains looking up to the sky untill you move the gimbol back down.

Hi, carried out the gimbal calibration and no change. I can't do any more flights for the next few days, the weather is deteriorating with strong winds.
If you have any other suggestions I'll complete them when the weather subsides.

Hi here is a video of me doing a "quickshot dronie" that works well then a "quickshot rocket:, you will see at the end of the rocket the gimble rotates up to the sky. This is the issue.

what is the dji assistant 2?
What device am i refreshing using dji assistant 2? The drone or rc.
I down loaded the link to my windows pc, and opened it, the home page just shows a usb cable and arrows which I assume wants me to attach a usb to the PC. I'd did this and connected it to my mini 4 pro and nothing happen, I connected it to my rc and nothing happened.
I looked on my rc while the drone was switched on and it says all software, firmware is up-to-date, no downloads available.

Thanks for that,  i found a you tube video showing how it works, I wasn't turning on drone and rc before attaching to pc. I've refreshed mini 4 pro and rc2.
Checked the quickshot rocket and the gimbol still looks upto the sky as it returns to start.

Ok found  log directory, and it's on my PC. Do I just upload it here on this post. looking in the LOG directory and there are 2 directories within, 1 called CASHE and the other RC LOG. Plenty of directories in CASHE but RCLOG directory is empty.
