Have only one real outdoors session with the Neo.  One of the less windier days late in the afternoon when the wind tends to settle down. So far, October has been on the windy side.  Near shore marine small craft warning to gale warning windy.  Heavy wooded property. But still significant wind issue.   So it was mostly keep it low and on the trails within video/RC range and just around the house.  Initial thought was bit slow flying in S mode.

Today, way too windy to even consider flying. Way too many tourist flooding the area for an annual festival to leave the property.  So I checked out a YTube video by Drone Wilder.  The person who has couple interesting videos on crash testing the Neo.  In manual mode using the FPV RC3.  Almost 60km/hr.  The I am a dolt moment.  I left the gains at the slow levels the Neo is delivered at from DJI.  Bumped up the rates to max.  S mode may feel more like it should.

Hi OldGuy2024,

Thanks for your feedback. DJI Neo is designed to offer users a convenient vlog shooting experience with palm takeoff and landing, and one-tap subject tracking. For this reason, it is more suitable for shooting scenarios at low altitudes which are close to people, such as daily walks and family time.

The max wind speed resistance of DJI Neo is level 4, which basically allows stable shooting and flying in the aforementioned scenarios. DJI Neo supports EIS functions such as HorizonBalancing. Thus the wind won’t affect the final footage. Please record with confidence.

I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!
