I had a gimbal fault on my last day in England this fall. The drone wouldn't even take off. I sent it in and they told me they'll replace it free of charge. Lost half a non-rain day and only have (half decent) fpv footage...

That's bad luck. At least you had a back-up drone/FPV.

I'm keeping my eye on the new Hurricane (Milton) as it seems to have Florida as its landfall target.  Getting tired of these late season hurricanes, especially after just having Hurricane Helene come ashore in Florida.

Mild and sunny sounds great.  

Hurricanes are a hazard of living on a peninsula sandwiched between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.  90% of the yea it is sunny and warm, the other 10% you fret the possibility of a hurricane occurring.

I like it... Everything fit together... Not sure about the choice of language...

I also think the soundtrack was spot on for this video... And the near miss collision with the bridge... What a nice touch! It did add some welcome realism to the story...

I came as far south as I could when I retired to avoid freezing winter temps and all that dang snow so now I'm stuck with the occasional hurricane.  Now it doesn't seem to be quite a fair trade-off.  They say we have to live with our choices and just make the best of them.  So I'm giving it my best effort.

Thanks David.  My plan to visit annually was thwarted by Covid and other factors, so there was quite a gap in what I had intended.But at least I got to fly under the arch

There was a group of students on a field trip, RUNNING up and down the steps in some kind of experiment to calculate horsepower. I remember doing something similar at school in a Physics lesson.
You can see them in the later clips.

I blame the weather. And it's back to rain again here after brightening earlier.
At least yesterday it remained dry - even sunny spells- for my group walk.

That makes a change,  walking in the dry with the group,  well until you got to the pub.


Have you done the rope walk at Winits?   Some hill you have to use a rope to get up.    Not the whole walk on ropes.

The top bit looks OK, but where her feet are does look a bit challenging.   I found Cavedale quite hard going, when I went through a few weeks ago.
