Hello everyone, Does anyone know if the Neo batteries discharge to go into storage like the batteries of other DJI drones? I had charged them last Saturday but I was unable to use all 3 and I noticed in these days they remained at 100% without going into storage.

Yes, on their website "DJI Neo Intelligent Flight Battery" I Think after 10 days if you have not touched the power button to check the status, they start to discharge, but if you do touch the status button to check the battery levels, it resets the whole process and will take another 10 days.

Thanks for the info regarding touching the power button resetting the "clock".  Was unaware until now.

Pressing the check battery doesn't reset the timer, the batteries will still discharge to maintain their efficiency. The link takes you to the DJI information regarding battery discharging.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

The DJI Neo battery has a capacity of 1435 mAh and a nominal voltage of 7.3 V. It supports active self-discharge protection but does not support setting the active self-discharge days manually.

After being fully charged, the battery will initiate self-discharge protection after being idle for 3 days, automatically discharging to 96% capacity. If left idle without any operation for 15 days, the battery will discharge to 80% capacity; if left idle for 45 days, it will discharge to 60% capacity to protect the battery. During the discharge process, the battery may become slightly warm, which is normal. If the storage environment temperature exceeds 45°C, the self-discharge protection will activate earlier.

Should you have any other questions, feel free to contact us.
