I want to mention some of the issues wich i dont like after this "new" firmware update:

1. The details in the sky and trees are the same and are still bad... the image quality and details are waaay better on Action 4, something i cannot belive my eyes because we expect better from "new" and "pro" camera...
2. The front screen stay ON all the time, i cannot turn it Off...they force us to use "always on display" on front screen even if i set it to stay off when i use the back screen... i want that front screen Off-black...

I hope this will be fixed in the next firmware update...

Hi there. Thank you for your feedback. We will report the first point to the relevant departments. The second point you mentioned is mentioned in our update. You could turn on Single screen preview (Scrn off when locked) in the settings. In this mode, the front screen will go out.

I turned on that setting and is not going off...always on display stay on in the front screen...and i want "always on display" just on my back screen...this happen after this new firmware update...

With the latest update, I see that the image quality has indeed improved. Note that I mainly view my videos on my 75" mini-LED TV. I'm not overly fussed about YouTube!
What I feel needs improving, or rather, correcting: 1) The HDR is overdone; image looks un-natural. It would be nice to have the option of turning off the HDR or having a severity option. 2) Colours are off, seemingly washed-out. Probably just software tweets will dial this in.
Apart from that, I really think it's a good camera but has the potential to be epic and live up to its' 'PRO' naming!
