Had my first Neo Fly Away everything was going great smooth video above the houses and wires. Then lost GPS which caused a tumble still high. "Unable to return to home". High winds, even though they were not. Flipped a few times in an Arc at 20m out of control. Then went down. Of course I have the flight log. Thoughts?

Easier to diagnose a possible problem from the log.

Thanks for your link above. Back in the day we used iTunes to find the log files. Now I can view the flight in the Fly App. How can I get this file without iTunes?

Hope this helps.  

The NEO is not a highly precise drone.  YMMV in other words.  I have these often.  The shadow of a tree can make it dart off course.  (it uses it's camera for positioning, which is good in great light, but not always.)  It doesn't keep contact with GPS very well from what I see.  DJI has some work to do IMHO.

For mobile devices, connect your mobile device to a computer via a USB cable and go to:

** DJI Fly
a) DJI\dji.go.v5\FlightRecord (for older versions of DJI Fly)
b) DJI\dji.go.v5\files\FlightRecord (for iOS devices)
c) Android\data\dji.go.v5\files\FlightRecord (for Android devices)



EDIT: Turns out the (android\data\)dji.go.v5\ folder is very valuable and holds a ton of interesting files. did not know until know - i was looking on drone and rc insteads. thanks)
