Hey All,


  I'm on my 5th flight with my Air3s and it's updated to the latest firmware but for some reason I was flying for 25 min and all was fine then all of a sudden while I was flying it stopped in mid air 190ft over water, nothing in the area around it and I could not get it to come back or move, it just sat there. 63% battery left and I had to hit the RTH function to get it back to me. I brought it home and confirmed that the firmware is up to date. It does fly normally now, but I'm very concerned that there will be an issue going forward.


Any ideas what I should do? Thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing the concern.
Kindly remind you that Landing Protection will activate during Return to Home or landing by using the remote controller or App. When aircraft begins landing, Landing Protection is enabled.
Also the Air 3S supports setting signal lost actions. You can set the Signal Lost action as RTH (Return to Home), Descend, or Hover.
Please check on the Set: ··· > Safety > Advanced Safety Settings > Signal Lost

Yes I understand that, but I was in a normal flight and there was no issues. I had full signal between the controller and drone and I was flying at full throttle on the stick in sport mode and it slowed and actually slowed then stopped in mid air.

No matter what I did with the sticks in manual mode it did not respond and it just hovered in place after slowing and stopping. When it was non responsive to my operation I only had the RTH option as a last resort to get it back.
