I use my action cameras for live events and concerts, example mount to a drum kit.  I would love to stream from Action 5 Pro either direct to LED screen or wirelessly to video switcher.  With the new firmware that enables USB C to Display Port functionality, it is conceivable to also go through a Display Port to HDMI adapter thus opening doors for livestreaming and external recording?

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out! The Osmo Action 5 supports live streaming through the DJI Mimo app. Currently, DJI Mimo only supports the live streaming platforms for Facebook, YouTube, and RTMP. If the platform you would like to use is not on the list, please contact their customer service to check if RTMP streaming is supported. If it is, you can use RTMP for live streaming.

If the live stream fails or you receive a warning indicating a failure while using RTMP, this may mean that the platform and the RTMP streaming protocols are not compatible. We recommend trying one of the listed live streaming platforms that are compatible with DJI Mimo.

For a detailed step-by-step guide on live streaming with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, you can refer to the article here.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

I can confirm that USB-C to HDMI is indeed working, if you use an adapter that does USB-C PD as well, you can charge and output at the same time!

Looks to be locked at 30fps though.

Please be specific on the cables and adapters you're using, as well as what you are plugging your HDMI into.  thx
