Hello!

when I repeat a saved mission, do I have to start from the previous home point / start point?
What will happen, when I start for example at a far lower starting point?
What height values will be used?

The good practice for such case is to plan the flight in ASL.

Otherwise there will be an altitude offset between two part of the mission.

Hi there,

Thank You for reaching out. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing. When planning a Waypoint Flight, the system automatically generates a waypoint flight task and saves it every minute.
Tap the list icon on the left side of the Waypoint operation panel to enter the route task list, and manually save the current route.
Save directly: save the current route task.
Save As: Make a copy of the current task and save it.
* The flight route mission is saved in DJI Fly. There is no Transfer or Backup function. If you change to another mobile device, the previous flight route mission cannot be used.

I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!

Hopefully DJI is changing this and save it in the cloud :-)

For the rest: very nice waypoint flying !

You understood me right!
But can I plan a flight in ASL figures?

@DJI Gamora: I made the first flight at e.g. 100m above sealevel as a homepoint.
The repeat flight will fly the same route/mission, but I want to start e.g. 300m away at 50m above sealevel as as homepoint. What will happen?

No, that didn't answer the question.

And how does one do that in Fly.  It was easy enough in Litchi or Dronelink.

Ahhh sorry, i saw "waypoint" and I assumed you were on Pilot 2.

We can't see which category the thread is associated with on the mobile version of the forum.

So, with Fly the only option is to always choose the same take off point to have a constant altitude. +/- the altitude error induced by the altitude measured by the drone.

And do not waste your time with Gamora, it is most likely a chat bot. It has been reported many time that this admin has inaccurate answers, but it seems that no one cares about.

That's what I assumed.

One of the reason, why I am such a fan of waypoints...
