If while flying with the Motion Controller 3 or the RC-N3 remote control, in NORMAL or SPORT mode, it doesn't matter which and a red 'N' appears, the result will always be what you see in the video: a crash. It's definitely a firmware bug; you cannot regain control in any way or under any circumstances. The drone accelerates and moves in the direction it was heading. It seems the issue is related to a sudden GPS signal drop and the transition from light to shadow, or possibly connected to the stabilization sensors.
I am truly concerned about this situation; it is not safe to use the drone. DJI, you must address this issue somehow, as I have seen it reported by other users as well. In manual mode, it has never happened to me so far, and I hope it never will. However, it is unacceptable to think of using the drone safely with such a serious issue.

IMHO this is a known issue, which was fixed (at least in the surrounding where I'm flying) with the last FW update. Did you make alle updates?
Yes, i confirm latest firmware on all devices:
DJI Neo: V01.00.0400
DJI RC-N3: V01.03.0200
DJI Goggles N3: V01.00.0200
DJI RC Motion 3: V01.00.0200
Not good1 I hoped the issue was fixed, because I (and some others) didn't notice any more weird behaviour at all. I had another flight indoors yesterday into the equipment room of a gym and as fas as I remember, N-mode went to red at least once, but NEO was always controllable.
So DJI, wake up! Some more work to do!
Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about what happened with the drone. In a situation like this, the best course of action would be to submit an online repair request here: {https://repair.dji.com/repair/index}. If you need assistance with creating a ticket, you may contact DJI support at https://www.dji.com/support. We understand that this is not the answer that you look forward to, but this would be the best thing to do in this situation. In addition, warranty service can be claimed depending on the result of the Damage Assessment.
Your kind understanding is appreciated and thank you for your continued support.

Hi Natalia,
I don't need a ticket or repair at this moment.
I only have the issue I described in the post.
The drone was not hurt or damaged this time, but my concern is about the safety of flying it.
I have made many flights without any problems, but this strange behavior has triggered my internal alarm regarding the safety of using it outdoors with the motion controller and goggles.
I’m sure this issue is not hardware-related. I've never had any problems with the FPV remote controller, and as you can see in the video, it’s not related to the satellite signal either. The satellite count remains at 15.
The problem appears when transitioning from a bright environment to a dark one. If you look at the video, you’ll see it happens when I fly through a shadow. The satellite count is still at 15 during the crash.
It seems to be a firmware bug or an issue with ground detection.
I would also like to add that I have two DJI NEOs, and the issue is the same on both. It has happened in other cases, but I thought it was appropriate to document the problem thoroughly to understand if a possible resolution exists.

Talk to your Gamora, she doesn't know what's going on. Over the years of this forum's existence, haven't you learned how to collect data? It feels like Diana, Cinderella, Gamora, and the other fairy tale characters you hide behind don't communicate with each other.
