Geo Fencing

Ok  I will be 69 in June of 2025, I never in my wildest dreams would ever have thought i would have a flying movie camera lol. When in HS no computers calulators ect. all low tech back then. My DJI drones' i can never express how grateful I am that your company came into existance and made the best commercial and professional drones in the world...it's wonderful.

Having said that, please DJI explain this to me. Just updated my drone and RC2 controller the other day. Have not flown for a few months because i am constructing a shed so I do not know what update this came about. I recieved this message on my screen. I live in an area chock full of zones. 1 Nationa air port, 1 inter-national air port and several regional air ports along with several state parks.
To fly I have to skirt several zones and yes go through a few yellow zones. I click the yes i understand and will take full resposeabillty of my flying while in the zone. One of the zones is near a regional airport. It's a yellow zone ( yellow is the lowest...right?) . It was where a car delaership was that was associated with one I worked at in the late 1970's. so I documented the demolition of the car dealership and now the construction of townhomes....untill I recieved this warning so I did not fly because it sounds like if i go into this zone you are surely going to crash my drone for me. As far as I know there are no other signals to my drone in a restricted zone, no satelite that will down my drone with an overriding signal...right...? just the signal from my controller...........so from what I read in the warning..YOU DJI will cut the signal, no RTH...the drone may hover till the battery runs out and then fall on someone or damages property or do a fly away............really ? even if this just for a heavily restricted area it's still unacceptable...maybe a waring with 10 seconds to leave and then the drone auto lands.

No your imagination is running away with you.
DJI aren't going to crash your drone.
They are warning that you are close to areas where you cannot fly.

so from what I read in the warning..YOU DJI will cut the signal
They won't and that's not something that they have the ability to do.

Just a warning that your drone can't RTH through an area it isn't allowed to fly in.

No, your imagination is coming up with silly ideas, unrelated to anything real.

Since it's just your imagination, that's got nothing to do with DJI.

Your drone cannot enter these areas.
If you tried to it would be like flying into a soft wall in the air.

Labroides     so nothing has changed, DJI  just has a new scarry warning ?  I use to go through yellow or whatever the lowest is just had to click on I accept the rsposability
