Hello,
I have a mini 3 pro, updated to the latest version (both aircraft and RC)
And still the 5.8 band is not open for use in Israel. It has been allowed in Israel for 3 years already. New models like Mini 4 Pro allow it.
Is there an update for that?

That is completely wrong, as I said in my message the 5.8 band has been released to the public in Israel more than 3 years ago already.
Since April 2021 to be exact. I can prove this with official documentation.
And DJI knows this already!! new models like mini 4 pro support 5.8 in Israel.
All you have to do is fix the software for mini 3 pro (and other models like Mavic 2 pro - all the models that support 5.8).

See this post with references for all supportive documents describing that 5.8 band _IS_ supported in Israel. I think confusion here is in terminology: while use of the 5.8 band is legal in Israel (mean "band is supported"), on the Mini 3 Pro DJI did not enabled it, so DJI replied "band is not supported".

So situation it: band 5.8 IS legal in Israel, it is enabled by the DJI in other products like Mini 4 PRO but not enabled in Mini 3 PRO and some others. Request for DJI: please enable 5.8 band in Mini 3 PRO.

Not just mini 3 pro. open it for support in Israel for ALL DJI PRODUCTS that support 5.8 band.
I don't understand why DJI is insisting on giving us an answer they know is wrong.

Anyway, After contacting DJI support directly, they contacted me and asked me to send them the official government document that opened the 5.8 band for public use in Israel.
I sent them the document (which, alas, is in Hebrew) with a pointer to the relevant part and its translation to English. They said they passed it on to their engineers for study.
Let's see what happens,
