I'm taking my drone to Hungary have all the relevant certificates and permissions but I have to


Remote Identification (EU 945/2019) must be operational for the Mavic 3 in flight within the EU.

In the technical description of the drone, you will find where to enter the identification number in the drone sotware, using the "secret PIN code




How do I do that please I have mavic3


Any help greatly appreciated

It's under safety,.   you need to have the drone turned on with satellites seen,   connected to the Internet and I believe inside the EU for the menu to appear.

Thank you so much unfortunately in UK and we aren't included in EU anymore thank you for your help

Thats right. You need to be in an EU country,

I have been talking to dji support they said that when i receive my C certificate i will be able to input RID...... They lied

Are they sending that to a UK address as previously they would only send it to an EU address.

Yes apparently so although i go away saturday so doubt it will be here in time

I can’t input this RID thing until I get this certificate and Hungary won’t let me fly without the RID

Your Mavic 3 without a classification is a legacy drone and will fall into the Legacy category limited to A3 airspace.

Unfortunately for me although DJI have shipped the labels i still have no option on my app to add RID although DJI assured me that it would. obviously they knew my address and where i live. You message DJI i honestly don't believe they actually read my messages

Im pretty sure you can do that when you reach your EU destination.

I assume youve installed the firmware,  then gone through the process of uploading the photos of the labels etc attached and had those approved?

No haven’t uploaded photos because DJI haven’t told me where to upload.??
